Most video databases are mega-lame. Until now! "Movie Master" has a professionally designed interface that rivals most commercial software.
Your entire movie collection is at your fingertips with ten different ways to search! Easy to understand. Aesthetic yet simple interface. Detailed information about each movie, but no irrelevant fields to clutter up the interface.
Data entry has also been made easy. The mouse is not needed at all. Just type away and use the tab key. Once you enter the name of a director or actor, you'll never have to enter them again! Just type the first few letters of their name, and it will pop up on a list. Hit return and you're done.
It also speaks! Yes, I know it does nothing for the database, but it's cool when your friends come over to watch a movie and as they are flipping through your database the computer says the name of the movie for you. (Requires Speech Control Panel to be installed.)
Speaking of friends, do they love to borrow your movies (forever)? Well, built in to the interface is a check out field for the name of the person who borrowed your movie. It shows up in red, and is really handy when doing a search to know the movie is out before you go looking for it in your closet. You can also search for "out" movies to keep track of them, and get them back!
It doesn't require it, but the font "Device" works really well with the design. I can't include it with this package because it is copyrighted. You can download it from the Internet Font Archive.

If you downloaded the "Loaded" package, it comes packed with 400 of my favorite movies. My tape numbers won't match, but you can change that, and the "Star" rating, if you have other opinions. But before you can do that, you need to send me $5 (US) for the password. (It took a while to import the movies and check them for accuracy. It's a lot more accurate then Leonard Maltin's piece of crap.)
If you downloaded the "Empty" package, you will find 10 movies as an example, but you still need the password to customize it. Just send me a piece of e-mail and I will give it to you. (E-Mail-Ware) Send me any comment you might have as well. I would love to hear them.
I would recommend leaving "Movie Master" password protected! Use the password for data-entry and editing, but when browsing/searching, ESPECIALLY when someone else is searching, keep it in limited-access mode. That way no-one but you can make changes to the data, especially accidental ones (like making "Snow White" rated NC-17!?!).
